Data Deletion Instructions

This page explains how to delete your data from CodenicTech Social Agent, a social media management product made by CodenicTech. For anything else, such as an enquiry you sent through our website, see our Privacy Policy or email info@codenictech.com.
You can ask CodenicTech to delete the data that CodenicTech Social Agent holds about you at any time. Use any one of the options below.
Option 1: Inside CodenicTech Social Agent
- Sign in to CodenicTech Social Agent.
- Go to Settings, then Connected accounts.
- Click Disconnect next to the account. Its access token is deleted immediately.
- To delete everything, go to Settings, then Delete account.
Option 2: By email
Send an email to info@codenictech.com with the subject “Data deletion request”, from the email address linked to your account, and tell us which accounts or data to delete. We will confirm when it is done.
Option 3: From the social platform
- Facebook and Instagram: on Facebook, open Settings & privacy, then Settings, then Apps and websites (or Business integrations), find CodenicTech Social Agent and click Remove. Meta notifies us and we start deleting your data.
- LinkedIn: open LinkedIn Settings, then Data privacy, find CodenicTech Social Agent under permitted services or other applications, and remove it.
- Google and YouTube: open the Google security settings page, find CodenicTech Social Agent and click Remove access.
What we delete and when
Within 30 days of your request or of a platform telling us you removed our app, we delete from our systems, including backups:
- access tokens for your connected accounts;
- profile, Page and channel details we received from the platforms;
- posts, drafts, schedules and analytics stored for those accounts.
We may keep invoices and tax records where Indian law requires it. Removing our app does not delete posts already published on your social accounts; you can delete those on the platform itself.
Check the status of a request
If you removed our app from Facebook, Meta gives you a confirmation code. Email it to info@codenictech.com and we will tell you the status of your deletion.
